This month the Orlando Economic Partnership welcomes Leidos to the Governors Council level of investment. This high level of investor support comes only from those in the community who are profoundly committed to championing the growth of the Orlando region.

Leidos’ unique name, drawn from the word kalediscope, reflects the company’s ability to apply different perspectives and unlock new insights out of complexity. An organization whose expertise spans across markets, Leidos is on a mission to become the global leader in the integration and application of information technology, engineering, and science while solving their clients’ most demanding challenges.

Leidos’s mission to make the world safer, healthier, and more efficient is supported locally by Senior Vice President of Health Business Development & Strategy and Orlando Economic Partnership Board Member, Karoom Brown.

Karoom’s history of academic and professional excellence can be seen from his start as Valedictorian at New York University to the awards earned later in his career, such as Lockheed Martin’s highest honor, the Nova Award, Verizon’s Sales Masters Club Award, and the Johnson and Wales University Distinguished Alumni of the Decade Award.

The Partnership’s Board of Directors welcomes his strategic perspective and experience with emerging technology and market analysis.
