The Orlando Economic Partnership welcomes Timbers Resorts, one of the largest independent developers and operators of world-class boutique resorts, hotels and private residence clubs, and CEO Greg Spencer to the Partner level of investment.
Timbers Resorts specializes in the complete development, sales, marketing and operations of luxury residence clubs, vacation homes and boutique hotels and resorts in the most sought-after destinations throughout the world. With beach, mountain, leisure and golf destinations in Hawaii, California, Arizona, Colorado, South Carolina, Florida, Mexico U.S. Virgin Islands and Italy, Timbers Resorts recently opened its new corporate headquarters in Winter Park, Fla. in the Orlando region.
Timbers Resorts’ move to Winter Park is in direct response to its growing portfolio of properties on the East Coast along with its interest in expanding further into Florida, the Caribbean and Europe and its desire to attract top industry talent for 80 new job opportunities.
“We are very excited to join the Winter Park community,” said CEO of Timbers Resorts Greg Spencer. “We feel that Florida provides a phenomenal platform for the Timbers Resorts brand and is a natural setting to launch new creative experiential vacation offerings. Moving our headquarters out of the Aspen area was a difficult decision, but we feel that Winter Park has a very similar spirit that our brand and employees will fit well within.”
Thank you to Timbers Resort for its investment in the economic and community development efforts of the Partnership and its support of promoting broad-based prosperity for the region.
