The Orlando Economic Partnership celebrated its 34th annual Barbecue in the Park, presented by VyStar Credit Union, with over 800 attendees gathering at Luminary Green Park for an evening of food, music, and community, highlighting the region’s growth and Brother Jimmy’s BBQ as the winner of the Best in the Park award.
Orlando, Fla. – The Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) celebrated a successful Barbecue in the Park, presented by VyStar Credit Union with over 800 people in attendance. In it’s 34th year, Barbecue in the park took place Tuesday night at Luminary Green Park in Creative Village, where the community gathered for an evening of food, music, and celebration.
With perfect weather, the event offered an ideal setting for attendees to connect with others, enjoy great food, and recognize the region’s continued growth. A highlight of the evening was the announcement of Brother Jimmy’s BBQ as the crowd’s favorite and winner of the Best in the Park award, earned for their outstanding barbecue offerings.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better evening,” said Tim Giuliani, President and CEO of the Orlando Economic Partnership. “Barbecue in the Park continues to be a special event for the region, bringing together our business and community leaders to celebrate what makes this area so unique. Congratulations to Brother Jimmy’s BBQ for their well-deserved win and thank you to everyone who contributed to making the event a success.”

Looking ahead, the OEP is gearing up for the Regional Leadership Conference on Friday, May 2, 2025. This event will bring together leaders from across the region to discuss strategies for economic development and prosperity.
