Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) will power the Orlando MSA Business Conditions Survey, highlighting its dedication to supporting our regional economy.

Orlando, Fla. – The Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) is pleased to announce that the Orlando MSA Business Conditions Survey will be powered by Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC—The Reliable One) for the period from October 2024 to September 2025. This partnership underscores OUC’s commitment to supporting the local business community and enhancing the economic landscape of the Orlando region.

The Orlando MSA Business Conditions Survey, published by OEP’s Market Intelligence team, is a quarterly initiative aimed at understanding the economic environment by gathering direct insight from local businesses.

The Orlando Economic Partnership continually seeks to understand and enhance the economic environment by engaging directly with local businesses. Insights gathered from the Orlando MSA Business Conditions Survey are critical to OEP’s mission, providing valuable data long before it appears in broader economic reports.

Neil Hamilton, vice president, market intelligence

The survey, covering Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Lake Counties, plays a crucial role in informing programs that address local needs and opportunities. Initially launched in early 2023, and later adding analytical support from Stetson University’s Center for Public Opinion Research (CPOR), businesses are encouraged to participate to help shape the region’s economic landscape by sharing their experiences and challenges.

The agreement will begin in July 2024 helping OEP expand the research and reach of the survey results.

At OUC—The Reliable One, we’re dedicated to fostering a thriving local economy. Partnering with OEP on the Orlando MSA Business Conditions Survey allows us to directly contribute to understanding and addressing the needs of our business community. This collaboration is a natural extension of our commitment to supporting the economic vitality of the Orlando region.

Linda Ferrone, OUC Chief Customer & Marketing Officer

“We look forward to partnering with OUC and appreciate their continued involvement in the OEP’s regional mission,” said Tim Giuliani, CEO and President of the Orlando Economic Partnership.
