Orlando, Fla. — The Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) is pleased to announce recent promotions within its team, reflecting the dedication, leadership, and excellence of key members. These promotions, which include senior-level advancements in branding, economic development, and program leadership, underscore OEP’s commitment to fostering growth and elevating the region’s economic and community impact.
Laureen Martinez has been promoted to senior vice president of branding, marketing, and communications. With a decade of service at OEP, Martinez has been instrumental in shaping the Partnership’s brand and driving marketing strategies that spotlight Orlando’s unique assets. Her new role will enhance OEP’s branding initiatives and continue raising the profile of the Orlando region on a national and international scale. Martinez oversaw the implementation of the Unbelievably Real brand platform that provides a consistent message, look and feel for marketing Orlando to leisure, meetings and business audiences and led the communications around our first-of-its-kind Digital Twin amongst other projects.
On the Economic Development team, Casey Evans, who started at the OEP in 2014 as a coordinator if investor relations, was promoted from senior director of business development to vice president of economic development. Over the past 10 years, Evans has shown exemplary leadership in driving regional economic growth and investment. In her new position, she will continue strengthening OEP’s efforts to cultivate a thriving and sustainable economy, leading the project management and strategic initiatives teams; working to create favorable business conditions and attract targeted companies to the Orlando region for both investment and job creation. Additionally, this includes work in site development, semiconductors, foreign direct investment, and business retention and expansion.
Additionally, Lisa Winkelbauer has advanced to executive director of Leadership Orlando, building on her impressive 27-year tenure with OEP. Her experience and dedication to cultivating future leaders have made Leadership Orlando one of OEP’s most impactful programs both locally and nationally. Winkelbauer’s expanded role will enable her to further enhance the program’s reach and success, now celebrating its 50th anniversary, ensuring the Orlando region remains a community of strong, engaged leaders.
OEP is also thrilled to recognize Jenny Cruz, promoted to senior director of HR, and Brooke Hill to associate director of the Film Commission.
