Results from our Q2 2026 Orlando MSA Business Conditions Survey, powered by OUC – The Reliable One, suggest that while businesses across the region have become more cautious, they continue to anticipate growth despite a challenging operating environment.
Highlights:
- Confidence in both firms’ own prospects and the U.S. economy fall to two-year lows.
- Recent performance and future expectations both soften, but businesses remain optimistic about future growth amid continued uncertainty.
- Cost pressures overtake political uncertainty as the most common challenge, reflecting the inflationary impact of conflict in Iran.
- 3 in 4 businesses view Downtown Orlando as a safe and welcoming environment for conducting business.
