Message from the Orlando Tech Council Chair
Happy Friday, all.
It’s a good week for partnership announcements – more detail is in this week’s featured articles. Two Council members shared great new opportunities and offerings including the University of Central Florida announcing the creation of the new Computer Vision master’s degree program that will focus on enabling technology to better interact with video and images. And, EA Sports announced the unveiling of EA SPORTS PGA TOUR: Road to the Masters. This game is now the only place where you can compete in all four of golf’s major championships. Congratulations EA Sports, thank you for being an important contributor to the region’s tech economy.
You’ll also read about a great example of how the council’s Tech Connect program is impacting the community through the story of one local ed-tech startup.
And, next week, there are some great events you may want to check out. Lean Startup Orlando will host a session on Innovation Methodology on Wednesday, April 14.
