Orlando, Fla. – Patriot Defense Group, a defense and intelligence services company, announced this week the acquisition of Winter Park-based Innovative Logistics, LLC in keeping with its 10-year strategy to grow its Maitland headquarters.
“This transaction is our second acquisition over the past six months and continues to fuel our expansion of mission critical services to those who defend America,” said Todd Wilcox, executive chairman of Patriot Defense Group. “We plan to continue making significant investments to build out our specialized Warfighter support capabilities and the robust defense industry ecosystem along the I-4 corridor makes Orlando the perfect location for our company headquarters.”
Innovative Logistics, LLC provides expeditionary logistics services to elements of the U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa and is a registered ocean freight forwarder and operates as a third party logistics (3PL) services provider in war zones, hostile environments and frontier economies providing mission critical logistics in places such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen and Libya.

“This company considered relocating its headquarters to Virginia last year but chose to stay in Orlando because of the region’s growing defense cluster and proximity to major military commands based throughout Florida,” said Tim Giuliani, president and CEO of the Orlando Economic Partnership. “Other factors included Orlando’s quality of life, moderate cost to do business, and the forward-thinking business community not to mention the skilled human capital graduating from University of Central Florida and Rollins College.”
