TogetherHealth Opens Office in the Orlando Region, Plans to Hire 300 New Employees

Insurtech company TogetherHealth plans to hire hundreds of insurance agents this year

Orlando, Fla. – Insurance technology company TogetherHealth is opening a new office in Lake Mary in the Orlando region and hiring a projected 300 new employees over the next three years. TogetherHealth leverages existing platforms to offer a range of Medicare-related insurance plans to meet the needs of consumers. The Insurtech company plans to be moved in and fully operational in November.

“TogetherHealth has seen incredible growth in the past 12 months,” said Gavin Southwell, CEO of parent-company Benefytt Technologies. “The demand for healthcare insurance technology and services continues to surge, and TogetherHealth is in position to meet this increasing demand.”

It’s important for our company to hire hungry and motivated talent, which is why we chose to expand in Orlando.

With more than half a million college students in a 100-mile radius of Orlando, TogetherHealth’s new office gives the company easy access to a robust talent pipeline of young professionals, as well as a large pool of customer service-related skill sets. The company’s new office is located at 255 Primera Blvd Suite 132 Lake Mary, FL 32746.

Seminole County is pleased to welcome TogetherHealth to our County.

Lee Constantine, Seminole County Chairman

“Vibrant communities begin with diverse employment base. The 300 jobs TogetherHealth is creating are key to the continued diversification of our local economy,” said Seminole County Chairman Lee Constantine.

As Medicare-related insurance grows with the large retiring population in the U.S., demand is high for technology and customer service solutions that help customers get connected with the right insurance coverage. In fact, according to the Orlando 2030 report, one in every five Americans is projected to be 60 and older by 2030 and by 2035 there will be more seniors than children in the U.S. for the first time in history. This is part of the reason why home and healthcare services are projected to be the fastest growing industry in the metro Orlando region.

A large portion of the company’s immediate open job opportunities are positions for insurance sales agents. The company offers a two-week training program for new agents to quickly become certified as a Licensed Insurance Agent. The median compensation for an agent is between $65,000 – $100,000 per year including commission and full benefits and the company will provide paid time off for an employee’s COVID-19 vaccination appointment. The company is also hiring call center trainers, Medicare specialists, quality assurance professionals and supervisors. Open positions at the company can be found at https://togetherhealth.com.

Orlando made the company’s shortlist of nine cities, and TogetherHealth eventually chose the Orlando region over Dallas due to real estate availability and talent density. The company plans to be fully moved into its new space before open enrollment in November this year.

“While many assume that Florida’s workforce skews towards retirement age, Orlando’s median age is actually lower than the U.S. average,” said Orlando Economic Partnership President and CEO Tim Giuliani.

The talent here is young and eager for new job opportunities, and we look forward to the opportunities that TogetherHealth will create in our market.
