The Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) welcomes the 2026 Civic Leaders class of its impactful Public Leadership Institute (PLI), continuing its efforts to cultivate civic leadership across Central Florida.
This latest cohort brings together a diverse group of 26 emerging and established professionals from business, nonprofit, and community sectors who share a commitment to public service and advancing regional progress.
Through the Civic Leaders track, participants gain a deeper understanding of the policymaking process and learn skills and tactics to influence and shape public policy and advocacy efforts.
“OEP’s Public Leadership Institute plays a vital role in strengthening Central Florida’s pipeline of engaged business leaders seeking to make a meaningful impact without having to run for office.”
Tim Giuliani, OEP President and CEO
“Building a global creative capital by 2045 requires collaboration between elected public officials and business-minded leaders with the experience, skills, and talent to support regional prosperity,” said Tim Giuliani, OEP President and CEO.
The new class was welcomed by Tony Massey, President and CEO of Massey Services and Presenting Sponsor of the Public Leadership Institute.

“Orlando needs more exceptional leaders with forward-thinking vision who can guide thoughtful decisions for our community.”
Tony Massey, President and CEO of Massey Services
Since its inception in 2008, more than 30 graduates of the Public Leadership Institute have gone on to serve in public office across Central Florida. Many others continue to explore future candidacy and leadership opportunities.
