Why did you choose to invest in the Orlando Economic Partnership?
This is a very exciting time in the Central Florida Region! Business leaders are understanding the value of the geographic location of Florida and the unique workforce of this area. Compass values and appreciates the strategic vision of the Orlando Economic Partnership and how it connects businesses together to grow the region. We are excited to connect with individuals and businesses within the OEP to understand how we can support in the economic growth of the Greater Orlando area.
How does being in Central Florida contribute to your organization’s success?
There is a lot of diversity in the Central Florida region which allows us to implement strong DEIA initiatives within organizations. Businesses are choosing to move their headquarters to the region, which gives us a distinct organic growth opportunity.
What are you most excited for that is coming to the Orlando region?
We cannot choose just one new partner coming to the region that we are the most excited about! The tech industry, entertainment, and the healthcare space are all seeing the value of the Orlando region by moving their headquarters. We are excited to see where we can support new companies in the region through recruiting, employee transition, compliance, and more.
Lastly, are there any new and exciting developments in the pipeline for your organization?
Our trademarked Learning Management System, The Compass Lab® continues to grow and welcomes learners to take part in training and development opportunities that meet their needs. It’s a blend of self-paced micro-learnings and facilitated trainings on topics including leadership, DEI, compliance, and self-management. Our pipeline of users creates a community from diverse industries such as healthcare, government, performing arts, and technology coming together in a virtual environment. We are excited about the experimentation and learning going on in The Compass Lab®.
