SaaS company reinventing the people development experience chooses its first U.S. location in the world capital of experiences, Orlando.
Orlando, Fla. – eloomi A/S (“eloomi”), a global cloud-based people development software company, will open its first U.S. office in the City of Orlando. The company plans to create 50 new high wage jobs over the next few years. As a leading SaaS company, eloomi’s learning management system and performance management platform enables human resource (HR) directors to easily distribute training content to internal and external users, while monitoring their progress and streamlining coaching, reviews, and 360 feedback. The company has offices in Copenhagen, Denmark, and London, UK, making Orlando its third office location.
“eloomi needed to expand further into the U.S. market, and Orlando stood out due to its international appeal to diverse, motivated talent,” said Claus Johansen, Founder and CEO of eloomi.
“As a people-oriented company that creates talent empowerment tools, culture is one of the most important factors in every company decision. Orlando’s diverse and welcoming culture was the perfect fit for eloomi.”

eloomi has seen significant growth in Europe since its inception in 2015 and recently began to see huge potential for its people development solution in the United States, including several U.S. based customers. The company conducted a national search focused on the East Coast time zone for a city that met critical location factors including a substantial young and diverse talent base, an inclusive culture and enough of a “cool” factor to appeal to employees and customers both in the U.S. and internationally. Plus, Orlando is uniquely situated to offer direct access around the world through its world-class airports as well as its central positioning with easy access to both North and Central Americas.
“Orlando is increasingly recognized as a hub for technology and a place where companies can start, relocate, expand and thrive,” said Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.
“eloomi’s decision to open its first U.S. based office in Orlando is a testament to our diverse talent pool, inclusive culture, unique position as an international gateway, an unmatched quality of life and enhances our reputation as a world-class city where any business can succeed.”

Orlando’s central position between Florida’s largest universities including the University of Florida (UF), University of South Florida (USF) and one of the nation’s largest universities, the University of Central Florida (UCF), played a major role in the company’s decision. The company also saw significant value in the established ecosystem of training centers, corporate learning environments and many relevant industry conferences hosted at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), the second largest convention center in the U.S.
“As graduates from all of these universities look to settle down and start their careers, Orlando is the perfect place to attract that talent,” said Chris Darwell, eloomi’s U.S. Head of Sales and Orlando-based team member.
“It’s a destination that can easily accommodate and entertain eloomi’s U.S. and international customers through their travels or conference attendance.”

eloomi connected with the Orlando Economic Partnership during its online search for information related to Orlando’s business community on its economic development website, InvestInOrlando.org. The company submitted an online inquiry about potentially expanding into the U.S. market. The Partnership helped secure this community win by showcasing Orlando’s technology ecosystem, coworking location options, employee travel and relocation support and making connections with local businesses.
“eloomi’s decision to open its U.S. location in Orlando underscores major developments that our community leaders have invested in over the years, including our robust talent pipeline and world-class convention center,” said Partnership president and CEO Tim Giuliani.
We are delighted to welcome eloomi to Orlando’s innovation ecosystem.
